The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis, originally developed by the Technical Educational Research Center (TERC) and first released by Brøderbund Software in 1996, had us using logic, problem solving skills, and data analysis in order to get these little blue guys to their new home of Zoombiniton. If you grew up in the 90’s and 00’s, this prologue might seem all too familiar. Then one day, who should show up but The Bloats … The Zoombinis had a sense of fulfillment and inner peace, not to mention healthy bank accounts.
And so they lived happily on Zoombini Isle making small, useful products, which were prized the world over. Such differences meant nothing to the Zoombinis. Though they all looked slightly different: different eyes, noses, hair, feet. Not too long ago, Zoombinis enjoyed the good life.
